In November 2015, Green Energy Geothermal supported the Elephant Neighbors Center.in their campaign of the “Ivory Belongs to Elephants Walk 2015” by buying 170 T-shirts.

Jim Nyamu the founder and the Executive Director for Elephant Neighbors Center. ENC came to site and gave a presentation, on why conserving wildlife in Kenya is so important, to the entire staff and management.

This campaign has three objectives:

  1. Raise awareness on the elephants and Rhino poaching
  2. Engage local communities on how to participate in wildlife conservation programs
  3. Educate communities on the new wildlife Act enacted early this year.

Jim Nyamu is the founder and the Executive Director for Elephant Neighbors Center. ENC is a local NG that focuses on enhancing the capacity of communities living with wildlife to promote inter- linkages between species and their habitats.
