Tomas Otto Hansson
Chairman and Shareholder
Tomas is the founder and Chairman of Atom Innovations in Oxford England. Atom Innovations invests in and supports innovative companies and entrepreneurs. Tomas has over 20 years of experience in finance, banking, project management in various industries, as board member, in management or as project leader of large or small international investment projects.
He became a leading advisor to Novator, a London based private equity firm, first on the acquisition of Landsbanki, then the Bulgarian National Telecom. Tomas has been involved in, and as director of, multiple projects and companies globally, including in telecommunications, banking, shipping, and pharmaceuticals. For 8 years Tomas was the chairman of Nova, the leading mobile operator in Iceland. Tomas has an M.Phil degree in Economics from New York University.
Over 18 years of relevant and unique experience in the financial markets, including 10 years as CEO in financial companies in Iceland and head of equity and alternative investments teams. Extensive experience of creating and managing equity and private equity funds and sitting on a board of directors for companies associated with those funds.
Sigthor has MSc in Finance from University of Iceland, (final thesis about financing the energy link from Iceland to the UK) and MBA from EADA Barcelona with Energy and structured Finance as major.
Sigthor has created, fundraised and managed funds over 20 funds the last 15 years, including asset classes like Icelandic equity, Scandinavian equity, fixed income, mezzanine, private equity funds, tourism, real estate development, real estate, energy, venture capital, international private equity fund of funds…..managed various transactions in debt and equity for over 500 million USD. Jordan is CEO of Energy Co-invest Global (“ECC”), an energy developer and financier with projects in several countries principally in renewable power generation and cleantech.
Jordan began his career in central banking working directly with the Governor of the Bank of Canada. He continued to progressively senior positions with financial and energy companies. Jordan has held executive management over a billion dollars in transaction and enterprise value. With a focus on efficient outsourcing models and smaller teams of high quality experts, Jordan has managed companies and divisions ranging from eight to 120 people in four countries.
In 2018, Jordan accepted appointments to the Boards of an energy company with successful renewable power plant projects with combined revenue and investment in excess of USD 200M. Jordan also recently held directorships and advisory appointments in real estate finance with a company that built 19 high rise towers, as well as banking, fintech, mining and other special advisory contracts.
Placed in sensitive positions requiring unquestioned trust and reliability, Jordan held “Level III, Top Secret” status, the highest security clearance in Canada. He regularly originates projects and leads negotiations for multi-jurisdictional transactions and has traveled to over sixty countries.
Prior positions held include Director, Hi-Rise Capital; CEO Sunbay Energy Corporation; SVP Finance & Strategy, Sun Energy Corp.; VP, Strategic Accounts and Director of Public Relations, Conros Corp.; and Special Assistant to the Governor, Bank of Canada.

Mamadou is the CEO of Energy Business at Janus Continental Group, and has over 20 years experience as a business executive and thought leader within the African energy sector — including work in renewable energy, oil and gas, telecommunications infrastructure/digital development, power production, and storage.
Mamadou is experienced at leading global teams with a strong influence across borders, and is highly adept at managing IPP and coordinating negotiations with government entities. He has proven success in leading business development within developing countries and markets.
Mamadou has a Master’s in Civil Works from Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l’Industrie and a MSc. in Petroleum Engineering from IFP School, as well as graduated from the IMD Business School Leadership program. Hrafnkell has been a partner at Summa ehf. in Iceland for over 12 years, and has a long history of working in risk management. He has worked on various types of projects throughout his career which involved risk consultancy, valuations of diverse type of financial instruments, data mining, and modelling for financial institutions and companies. He has Base II and Solvency II experience, as well as experience in the formulation of risk policy and risk handbooks.
Hrafnkell was previously the Head of Credit Risk at Kaupthing Bank in Iceland, from 2002 – 2009. There he touched upon many aspects of risk management, financial model building, data processing, processes, documentation, and the risk handbook.
He has a strong background in physics, Earth sciences, mathematics, and engineering. Hrafnkell also has a number of scientific publications and presentations. He is skilled in applying scientific methods, numerical modelling, data mining, signal processing, and visualization. He is an experienced database programmer with knowledge of various programming languages (i.e. SQL, Matlab, C#, VBA, Python, C++, and more.)
Hrafnkell has a Doctoral Degree in Geophysics from MIT, where he also worked as a Post Doc. and focused on theoretical and numerical seismology, inverse theory, applied mathematics, geodynamics, and finance theory.
